So it's time for some more photos from the Retreat. Everyone arrived on Friday night at staggered times, but nobody missed out on dinner. So that was good. They all got unpacked and busy making a mess at their stations. Some of us had fun with the goodies in another way!
LOL, we had alot of fun all weekend. But most of us got down to business and achieved some crafting.
Then the next morning everyone woke to their cooked breakfast that was ordered the night before.
Yes, don't we just look gorgeous first thing in the morning.............nice pj's Deb.
So after some bacon and eggs our fabulous friend Miss Jen Hall got busy taking the girls for a scrapbooking workshop. Everyone had a great time.
Everyone received cute goodie bags at different intervals (and yep, I forgot to take photos of those!) and really seemed to enjoy that. And here is Di with a beautiful gift that her friend Lisa (one of the gorgeous owners of Embellees) whipped up for her over the weekend to celebrate her grandchildren (which she is to receive 3 more very soon, how exciting).
Isn't it gorgeous?
Ok, more again in a few days.
Cheers

What a Fantastic Time
Well, our first ever Scrap Alley Retreat has been and gone and I have to say we had an AWESOME time. All the preparations and planning were well worth the time and from the feedback we received, a fantastic time was had by all. Over the next week or so I would love to share some photos with you from the weekend and today I will start with the setting up. Miss G, Deb and I arrived on Friday morning after shopping for food at about 11.30am and got busy making the room shine for our guests.
We hung banners and found that not only was Miss G the tallest but she was also the only one that would go to the top of the ladder.
She also is the clever creative designer of this gorgeous banner we had up to remind everyone to enjoy their retreat experience. How beautiful is it?
We found these cute ball thingys by Robert Gordon at a local store and they added nice "pretty" detail.
We packaged up some goodies into pizza boxes to present to our attendees on arrival.
A bit of ripped fabric, a gorgeous tag stamped with a Unity stamp and a cute name badge to wear.
We placed them all out, along with a lolly cup and were ready for the arrivals! Bring it on.
I will be back to share more soon.

We brought along a small shop just in case anyone felt the "urge to splurge".

Jen Hall Class - Sneak Peek
As you may know we are having the talented Miss Jen Hall teaching a workshop for us on Saturday morning at the Retreat. And we now have a sneak peek to share with you!! Yay!! Gotta love a little sneak peek don't cha??
You will need to bring with you a 6" x 4" landscape photo in black and white to go with the page.
And for those of you who sadly missed out on this months retreat, keep your eyes right here on this blog in the next couple of weeks. As we are in discussion with a different venue for our next one and should have dates VERY soon.
Cheers
