Emit Photography

Liz Walker from Emit Photography is coming along to our Retreat on the Saturday to take portrait or group shots of our attendees for their own albums (if they choose too).  And she has just launched her new website and I wanted to share it with you cause it is AWESOME.

Here is what Liz has to say on her new website:

"Hi .. my name is Liz and I'm a natural light photographer and I love to catch the light in the eyes and make them sparkle.
As a mother of four children I know how it feels to be pregnant and I'm still amazed at the beauty and the magic that is creating new life .. and newborn babies are such a delight ... the soft skin and the sweet smells ... just perfect! These early months are so special ... and so fleeting ... these are memories that I want to cherish forever!
I understand toddlers too and I'll do what it takes to get the shot that captures the true spirit of your child.
As children grow and change it is important to capture those family portraits too,I love to capture a moment in time that will be gone before you know it."
And while Liz specialises and loves to take photos of children, families and pregnancies, she is an amazing portrait photographer too.  And we are so lucky to have her come along to our Retreat and offer the ladies an opportunity to have themselves in front of the camera for a change.  If you are coming to the retreat and haven't booked your sitting yet, be sure to email us at scrapalley@gmail.com to do so.
Cheers

Awesome find for the Scrapbooker!

Hi, Georgina here.  Wow these mugs are fabulous.  Both Alex & I have one.

They are lovely to drink from, I sneak my lid off to drink from the real china mug! But with the lid on, my scrap space stays safe from spills.  And the insulated mug means that if I get busy with my papers and glue, my cuppa stays hot longer! I got mine at David Jones, but I have seen them in other kitchen stores.  We recommend them to the scrappy coffee and tea drinker.

Cheers

This week Miss G and I got together to play, plan and create.  This retreat is so much fun to prepare and I just wanted to share a sneak peek with you.

Weekend Spoiling

Georgina and I are really focused on making the TREAT part of 'Retreat' a big theme at our weekend away.  And with that in mind we have enlisted the expertise of Jodie from Jodie's Essential Therapies to visit us on the Sunday to treat our attendees in a massage of choice for a small cost.  They have the choice of either a back massage

A face Massage

or a Hand & Feet Massage
We are so happy that we can offer a relaxing wind-down on the Sunday before everyone heads home to everyday life again. Don't you think that is great?   Bring on August!!!!!
